Advancing cultural inquiry for the public good.

The Center is a community of researchers collaborating to build digital content and systems in order to generate and express knowledge of the humanities. We mentor emerging voices and advance digital futures for all.

Because we believe the humanities achieves its full scope only as a function of its place in everyone’s lives:

• We value all forms of humanistic inquiry.
• We value the work and the priorities of CDRH community members in all roles at the university, including students, faculty, staff, and academic leadership.
• We value good communication: transparency, constructive dialogue, knowledge sharing, and respectful listening.
• We recognize local community and the people of Nebraska, both as audiences for CDRH work and as sources of creative and meaningful collaborations.
• We value innovation while still honoring our disciplinary traditions.
• We encourage curiosity, learn from failure, embrace difference, and practice patience in order to create a nurturing and humane Digital Humanities community.
