Michelle Tiedje is the Project Manager for the Genoa Indian School Digital Reconciliation Project. She has participated in, contributed to, and managed a wide variety of digital projects, including the History Harvest, Making Invisible Histories Visible, Railroads and the Making of Modern America, and Civil War Washington. She specializes in social and cultural history, North America, and the long nineteenth century in transnational perspective

Michelle received her Ph.D. in History and a certificate in the Digital Humanities from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, an M.A. in History from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a B.A. in History from East Tennessee State University.
