The Center advances interdisciplinary research in the humanities by creating unique digital content, developing tools to assist scholars in text analysis and visualization, and encouraging the use (and refinement) of international standards for humanities computing.

Thematic Research

The CDRH collaborates with faculty on interdisciplinary humanities research.  The sites in this section are primarily thematic in nature.

Metadata Description Projects

The Center has been engaged in research and demonstration projects to explore the use of metadata in new contexts and to refine the use of particular types of metadata.

Tools

Digital humanities tools provide scholars with new ways of exploring, analyzing, visualizing, and comparing texts.

Subscription Projects

Subscription-based projects of the Center are collaborative projects with other individuals or institutions that involve the use of copyright-protected material.
