Graduate Research Assistantships

The Center for Digital Research in the Humanities offers a number of graduate research assistantships annually, and assistantships relating to digital humanities research are often available on grant-funded projects. Please send inquiries and a 1-2 page resume with address, email, and phone information to Katherine Walter at kwalter1@unl.edu. Resumes will be kept on file for one year.

Undergraduate Research Assistantships

The Center for Digital Research in the Humanities also offers a number of undergraduate research assistantships annually. The funding for these may be grant-funded as well. Please send inquiries and a 1-2 page resume with address, email, and phone information to Katherine Walter at kwalter1@unl.edu. Resumes will be kept on file for one year.

Internships

For graduate and undergraduate students interested in internships opportunities in the Center for Digital Research in the Humanities, please contact Katherine Walter at kwalter1@unl.edu. Graduate internships are typically a semester-long commitment, and offer the individual a broad overview of digital scholarship. These can be combined with independent study. Internships are also offered through the Cather Project and other projects in partnership with the Center.

Independent study

Independent study credit is offered for both undergraduate and graduate students in the departments of Digital Initiatives & Special Collections, English, History, Modern Languages & Literatures relating to digital humanities. Contacts in the departments are:
