Jaclyn Cruikshank Vogt

PhD student in English
Jackie is a PhD candidate in English, focusing on Late American fiction with a specialization in Women's and Gender Studies. Her dissertation positions representations of women who kill in contemporary American women's writing as transgressive figures who probe, problematize, and dismantle mythologies of American violence and American identity. In her spare time she enjoys rearing Monarch and Swallowtail butterflies and recovering the life and work of Ohio children's author Eleanor Youmans.
Current Project: Mountain Meadows Massacre; Previous Projects: Radical Scatters, John Wyclif, and others
