Bajaber is the Digital Resources Designer for the Center for Digital Research in the Humanities. He began working for the Center in early 2004 and since then has been involved with several major research projects. His work has focused on the development and maintenance of database-driven websites that are standards-based and accessible. As part of his job he has designed and programmed user interfaces and navigation and searching systems. He has experience with many encoding standards and programming and query languages (mainly XSLT, XQUERY, PHP and SQL). In addition to his involvement in the implementation stage of development, Bajaber also advises on technical and workflow matters. Projects he has contributed to include The Journals of the Lewis and Clark Expedition Online, The Walt Whitman Archive, and Birds of Nebraska: Newspaper Accounts, 1854-1923.
